Elizabeth Browder's African applique, embellished quilt, Out of Africa was quite a treat.

Elk Grove quilter Connie Horne displayed Fiber of Slavery: Strong Women Picking Cotton that was also featured in a Sacramento Bee article slideshow. Connie is a prolific quilter who is known for her prize winning wearables.

Dr. Patricia Turner of UC Davis was present and later presented a lecture about her book, Crafted Lives on the 17th.

Amazing Wonders will be exhibited at 40 Acres Gallery, 35th and Broadway, Sacramento, CA until Decemer 23rd. They have various activities scheduled until December 12th.
